Niseko, Japan, Jan 24 — Attractive new skiing packages are being offered for February and March in Niseko, Japan’s premier ski destination, which is again experiencing a bumper snow season.
Japan’s leading inbound ski tour operator, SkiJapan.com, has announced a 20 percent discount on premium apartment accommodation in the heart of Niseko in February, 20 percent discounts for bookings made less than four weeks before departure and up to five nights’ free accommodation for bookings in March.
With the 2013/14 season in full swing, Niseko’s three main ski areas – Grand Hirafu/Hanazono, Niseko Village and Annapuri – each have more than 1.5 metres of snow at base level and up to three metres of snow at top station.
The region receives more than 15 metres of snow each season and is on track to again record above-average snowfall.
“The conditions are wonderful for enjoyable skiing and there seems no doubt this will continue until at least the end of March,” says SkiJapan.com general manager, Marcus Williams.
The 20 percent discount for February applies to premium apartments, Alpen Ridge and Snow Crystal for bookings from Feb 8-28. Alpen Ridge is next to the main lift and offers ski in/ski out facilities. A complimentary grocery pack on arrival is also included in each package.
Ski Japan’s last minute deal offers 20 percent discount for bookings less than four weeks before departure at selected accommodation options in the Niseko region.
A “March madness” special provides up to five nights free accommodation with free kids lift passes for children 12 years and under and free kids’ ski rental with a paying adult.
SkiJapan.com, Japan’s leading snow holiday specialist, has offices in Japan, Australia and Hong Kong and has been sending skiers and boarders to Japan’s best ski resorts for the past 17 years.
Its specialist staff can customise seamless ski package holidays, including accommodation, transfers, lift passes, rental, ski lessons and stopover options.
